Cable Glands with anti-kinking trumpet for addtional reliability With anti-kinking trumpet for additional reliability. The Skintop BT is a gland which can be used when the supply cable to an electrical appliance has to be moved during normal use or requires some form of strain relief. The Skintop BT gland has a conical trumpet shaped cable entry which provides protection for flexible cables by supporting them as they enter the gland. This technical aspect is a requirement of certain European Standards such as VDE 0730. As with the other glands in the Skintop range, the clamping arrangements also provide a central strain relief effect on the entire circumference of the cable.
