K 2001 is a component of the LiCaFa (LiCaFa, LiCaFa-LichtwellenFasern oder Lightweight Fiber Constructs) system developed by the German company LiCaFa for use in researching and developing lightweight fiber structures. It is designed to allow for custom-built, lightweight fiber structures of up to 1 mm in diameter. It is made of a combination of several different components, including simple screws which hold the parts together, a tensioner for adjusting the tension of the structure, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive for holding the structure together over time. The K 2001 component is composed of a body, two adjustable tensioners, and two adjustable screws for creating custom-built structures. Additionally, it has adjustable height and width, allowing for increased flexibility in the construction process.
