Additional Infomation About Product

The LTR-F216A is a Light to Voltage Ambient Light Sensor, manufactured by Lite-On. It is an SMD (Surface Mount Device) which is used to detect changes in ambient light in order to automatically adjust the brightness of LCD display backlights. The device has the capability to sense ambient light between 0.28 and 4400 lux. It has a linear output and a dynamic range of at least 2-4X the typical current ambient light. The LTR-F216A is compliant with RoHS standards, so it contains no hazardous materials or components and is certified for use in industries and products that require RoHS compliance.
