The 2N6507TG is a unidirectional Thyristor Surge Protector from Littelfuse. It is constructed from three internally interconnected components: a silicon diode, a thyristor and a dielectric suppressor element. This combination of components provides several advantages, including a low clamping voltage, fast response time, thermally compensated response time and superior surge absorption capability. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic components from transient overvoltages present on power lines, data transmission lines and other types of unidirectional circuits. The device is available in TO-220, ULF5, and SOT-223 packages, with a peak pulse power rating of 600 W (10/1000 µs). The device also features bidirectional ESD protection and is RoHS compliant.
