The LP3986-36B3F is a Low Dropout Regulator (LDO) with a SOT23-3 RoHS package, designed and manufactured by LOWPOWER. It offers high performance, low power consumption, and high ESD protection. It delivers a constant output voltage of 3.6V with a maximum peak output current of 300mA. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including post-processing of digital audio signals, LED backlighting, powering microcontroller peripherals, or general voltage regulation. It has an excellent line/load regulation, a low drop-out voltage, and low output noise characteristics in both normal and power-saving modes. The device also provides an over-current protection (OCP) and a short-circuit protection (SCP). It is RoHS compliant and is available in three different package sizes.
