product FTPD5/Z-MDX/100 is a version of Madex's signature multi-directional (MDX) fire trench ducts that is designed to protect buried power, fiber optic, and other cables used in telecommunications networks. It has a durable steel core with patented angled corrugations and an extended containment design that helps minimize the exposure of buried cables to water and debris. The FTPD5/Z-MDX/100 also features an exclusive, low-profile design that allows for excellent water drainage from the front and sides. The unique shape of the FTPD5 helps with extra security, as the shape prevents intruders from accessing the cables within. The angled corrugations also help to provide extra structural support and strength, and the construction includes a UV-stable black coating for extra protection against the elements. This Madex product is also available in a variety of sizes and lengths to fit your needs.
