The MT8571A is a low cost, TO-92F RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant magnetic sensor manufactured by MagnTek. It has a high sensitivity and accurately detects small changes in the magnetic field. It is suitable for applications such as current, position and speed sensing in motor control and wireless charging systems. It has a low power consumption with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The MT8571A is characterized by high immunity to external noise sources due to its differential detection mechanism and closely matched current source output.
