IS603-XP-04 is a 4-mile stretch of the Marathon Marathon Trail, located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The trail has a variety of terrain, from rolling hills, to open fields, to dense forest. Its elevation range is from approximately 800 feet to 1,900 feet above sea level. The trail passes through diverse habitats, including wetlands, hardwood forests, coniferous forests, and open meadows. The trail also features stunning views of Lake Huron, the Au Sable River, and the surrounding landscape. The trail can be accessed from the nearby town of Marathon, which is near the start of the Iron Belle Trail.
