The Z600 processor delivers the highest core frequency and performance levels available within the award-winning Marathon family, and offers the highest core frequency and DDR3 memory support system on the market. The Z600 is faster than any other multi-core processor in its class and delivers a host of powerful features including HyperTransport 3.0, Advanced Intelligent Power Technology, and Virtualization Technology. The Z600 is also the first Marathon processor to feature a unified cache, which provides faster overall system performance. The Z600 supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and up to 4GB of flash memory, making it ideal for enterprise applications such as web and file servers, embedded systems, multimedia appliances, and enterprise storage solutions.
