The KM-2 BK part of the MASZCZYK is a multipurpose aircraft avionics system produced by the Polish company EL-KAN-T. It is designed to provide integrated navigation, communications, radar, tactical information, and surveillance information to its host aircraft. The KM-2 BK is composed of two main parts: the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the peripheral modules. The CCU provides the processing of all radar, navigation, and communications data, among many other functions. The peripheral modules consist of five additional subsystems, including the Protective Radar Subsystem, the Air Traffic Control Subsystem, the Flight Safety Subsystem, the Air Data Subsystem, and the Weather Subsystem plus dedicated monitor display and control consoles. All of these components work together to integrate critical data and provide aircraft operators with situational awareness and improved safety.
