The KM-38 BK is a Polish military vehicle that was manufactured by MASZCZYK. It is an artillery tractor and multi-purpose vehicle, and was originally designed as a light artillery prime mover. The KM-38 BK features a four-wheel drive system, a four-cylinder engine, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The maximum gross weight of the vehicle is 8,500 kg (18,700 lbs). It is powered by a liquid-cooled four-cylinder, 2.5 liter diesel engine, with an output of 130 hp. The KM-38 BK has an advanced power-assisted steering system and four-wheel independent suspension offering improved road performance and ride quality. It also has a four-wheel disc brake system for improved braking performance. The vehicle can tow a variety of artillery and other trailers, up to 8,000 kg (17,600 lbs) in weight. In addition, it can be outfitted with a variety of different mounted weapons, allowing it to serve as a light armored personnel carrier.
