The KM-4 BK is a monolithic digital homodyne transceiver designed to be used in conjunction with digital signal processing (DSP) systems. It has an optimized FPGA architecture, which allows for digital lookup tables, adaptive filters, and on-the-fly corrections of frequency, phase and sampling rate errors. The unit has a power output of up to 50 watts, and is suitable for the high-frequency Common Air Interface (CAI) digital data transmission standard. It is compatible with all digital systems using the 4-bit GFSK, 4-PSK, 16-QAM, 32-QAM and 64-QAM modulation schemes, and also includes support for DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications). It is compatible with both C4/K4 and E4 protocol versions. The unit is waterproof and contains a microphone, an audio port and Li-Po battery.
