The KM-86 GY is a twin-turboprop light utility aircraft, designed and developed in Poland by the aircraft manufacturer Maszczyk. It is a rugged, reliable aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 3,500 kg. It features two Ivchenko Al-22FN engines, each producing 1,200 hp. The aircraft can accommodate a crew of two and up to nine passengers and cargo in the cabin. It has a cruising speed of up to 227 knots (277 mph/446 km/h) and a range over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). It is equipped with a glass cockpit with a 4-screen EFIS system, which provides the pilot with situational awareness and a variety of flight information. The KM-86 GY has a large cargo door on the rear of the aircraft that allows for the easy loading and unloading of cargo, making it an ideal aircraft for a variety of missions. Additionally, it can be used for ambulance, freight, or aerial surveillance missions.
