The SP3222EEA-L/TR with SP3222E Series 250 kbps 5.5 V True RS-232 Transceiver - SSOP-20 is an integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by MaxLinear. It is a full duplex transceiver designed for bidirectional data communication between data terminal equipment (DTE) and data communication equipment (DCE) as described in EIA-232-F. It includes a differential line driver and receiver, a charge pump power circuit, which generates the required dual supply, and a power down control feature. The small outline surface mount 20-pin package (SSOP-20) provides low power consumption, minimal external components, and low EMI.
