The SP3243EBEY-L/TR is a 5.5 V intelligent RS-232 transceiver manufactured by MaxLinear. It belongs to the SP3243EB series, which can handle bit rates up to 250 kbps. This part is housed in a 28-pin TSSOP package is and is designed for full-duplex communication. It has an integrated output transistor driver, output slope control, two 11-bit programmable receive and transmit data rates, and an integrated level translator. The SP3243EBEY-L/TR supports standard formatting for OOK, NRZ and Manchester data rates, and provides high-sensitivity receiver input filters and an adjustable noise filter for improved system noise immunity. The device can operate from -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for a wide range of temperatures.
