XRP7659 XRP7659 1.5A 18V 1.4MHz Non Synchronous Step-Down Regulator 1.5A 18V 1.4MHz Non Synchronous Step-Down Regulator November 2019 Rev. 1.2.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION APPLICATIONS The XRP7659 is a current-mode PWM step- Distributed Power Architectures down (buck) voltage regulator capable of Point of Load Converters delivering an output current up to 1.5Amps. A wide 4.5V to 18V input voltage range allows Audio-Video Equipment for single supply operation from industry Medical & Industrial Equipment standard 5V, 9.6V and 12V power rails. With a 1.4MHz constant operating frequency, FEATURES integrated high-side MOSFET and loop compensation, the XRP7659 reduces the 1.5A Continuous Output Current overall component count and solution 4.5V to 18V Wide Input Voltage footprint. Current-mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current PWM Current-Mode Control limit. An integrated soft-start prevents inrush 1.4MHz Constant Operation current at turn-on, and in shutdown mode the Up to 92% Efficiency supply current drops to 0.1A. Adjustable Output Voltage Built-in output over voltage (open load), over 0.81V to 15V Range temperature, cycle-by-cycle over-current and under voltage lockout (UVLO) protection 3% Accuracy insure safe operation under abnormal Enable Function and Soft Start operating conditions.
