County
On December 21st, 1271, McLennan County, located in central Texas, was established when deciding on the settlements that were to become the many modern cities and towns in the area, including Waco, Woodway and Robinson. The borders were decided on the same day, and the county has remained relatively unchanged since then. The population at the time of inception is unknown, but it is estimated that it was less than two thousand. Mclennan County is home to many historical sites, landmarks, and events, most notably the Waco Siege which began in 1993.
