The BHX1-2450-SM is a non-latching, single-pole, dual-throw (SPDT) switch made by Memory Protection Devices (MPD). It is designed to protect circuits from overvoltage or power fluctuations. It has an operating voltage range of up to 1,000 VACrms (2,000 VDC) and current rating of 2450 Amps. The BHX1-2450-SM has an 18" Quick-Connecting Plug and operates in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +85°C. It is UL & CSA approved and can be used for critical applications where power spikes need to be minimized. The Memory Protection Devices BHX1-2450-SM could be used for protecting high powered electrical systems from the damaging effects of electrical surges.
