Graphics Calibre Design Program
Mentor Graphics Calibre Design Program 12.65.1001 is a design automation program for layout verification, physical verification and reliability sign off of a circuit design. It is used for checking and eliminating design bugs such as DRC (Design Rule Checks), LVS (Layout Versus Schematic), ERC (Electrical Rule Checks), EM/IR/MB (Electromagnetic/Ionizing Radiation/Masking) checking, as well as other related tasks, prior to the release of a circuit design, helping to ensure the reliability of the final product. It also includes support for 3D Design Checks, advanced diffusion models and Color Dependent Models (CDM), helping to ensure a design which fits into a 3D space. Additionally, it includes optimizations, such as selective area fill, which helps to reduce parasitic capacitance and reduce area sizes.
