1230-06-01-10 is a part of the Methode method, which was created by the Belgian education psychologist Robert Methode in the early 1970s. This method is based on a number of steps which can be used to improve the performance of learners. The 1230-06-01-10 method involves starting with a constative statement (“content of presentation”) to establish the topic that will be addressed. It then proceeds through 10 steps that discuss different aspects of the chosen topic and introduce relevant challenges related to the topic. The 10 steps include: Analyze the problem and define the objectives; Establish the participants; Define the approach; Set the confrontations; Develop achievable solutions; Prepare the presentational material; Structure the presentational material; Validate the presentational material; Refine the solutions; and Finalize the solutions.
