Microchip Technology's ATSAM4CMS4CB-AU is a low-power-consumption, entry-level microcontroller with an Cortex-M4 CPU core. This microcontroller boasts an impressive range of features, including 32KB of flash memory, 32-bit Cortex-M4 core with floating-point unit (FPU) and Digital Signal Controller (DSC). It also includes two independent system timers, four independent 16-bit channels of PWM and up to 10 UARTs. The microcontroller is capable of 32-bit operation at speeds up to 60 MHz, has 1Mbytes of Flash, 128Kbytes of SRAM, and is complemented with several analog, digital and communication peripherals. Furthermore, the microcontroller also features various safety features such as a dual-clock source, Brown-Out Detector, watchdog timer (WDT), Segment LCD and power-on-reset (POR) circuits. The wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and pulse-width modulation (PWM) controllers make this device suitable for a broad range of embedded applications.
