The ATSAME53J20A-MU Microchip is a 32-bit microcontroller that contains integrated 512KB of Flash, a 40 MHz Cortex-M4-based processor, and multiple peripheral functions. The Flash memory is non-volatile, meaning that it can retain information even when the power is off. The Cortex-M4 processor is designed for real-time performance with offer integrated DSP instructions, single cycle hardware MACs, hardware divide, and hardware FPU operations. It also has multiple low-power modes, allowing embedded systems to operate using minimal power in deep sleep modes. In addition, it offers just one voltage to program and debug and no external power is required for programming or debugging. The ATSAME53J20A-MU also contains a 12-bit ADC, four UART modules, two I2Cs modules, one SSC module, an EMAC Ethernet controller and a parallel master port, among other useful features. The device also includes AES and DES modules for secure data storage and transmission.
