DSC1004 1.8~3.3V Low-Power Precision CMOS Oscillator General Description Features Frequency Range: 1 to 150MHz Exceptional Stability over Temperature The DSC1004 is a silicon MEMS based CMOS o 10 PPM , 25 PPM, 50 PPM oscillator offering excellent jitter and stability Operating voltage performance over a wide range of supply o 1.7 to 3.6V voltages and temperatures. The device Operating Temperature Range operates from 1 to 150MHz with supply voltages o Ext. Industrial -40C to 105C between 1.8 to 3.3 Volts and extended o Industrial -40C to 85C temperatures from -40C to 105C. The o Ext. Commercial -20C to 70C DSC1004 has the same functionality and o Commercial 0C to 70C performance as the DSC1001 but with greater Low Operating and Standby Current output drive (C < 40pf). L o 8mA Operating (40MHz) o 15uA Standby The DSC1004 incorporates an all silicon Ultra Miniature Footprint resonator that is extremely robust and nearly o 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.85 mm immune to stress related fractures, common to o 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.85 mm crystal based oscillators. Without sacrificing the o 5.0 x 3.2 x 0.85 mm performance and stability required of todays o 7.0 x 5.0 x 0.85 mm systems, a crystal-less design allows for a Excellent Shock and Vibration higher level of reliability, making the DSC1004 Resistance ideal for rugged, industrial, and portable Lead Free, RoHS & Reach SVHC applications where stress, shock, and vibration Compliant can damage quartz crystal based systems.
