EMC1412 Multiple Channel 1C Temperature Sensor with Beta Compensation Data Sheet PRODUCT FEATURES General Description Applications Notebook Computers The EMC1412 is a high accuracy, low cost, System Desktop Computers Management Bus (SMBus) temperature sensor. Industrial Advanced features such as Resistance Error Correction Embedded applications (REC), Beta Compensation (to support CPU diodes requiring the BJT/transistor model) and automatic diode Features type detection combine to provide a robust solution for Programmable SMBus address complex environmental monitoring applications. Support for diodes requiring the BJT/transistor model including advanced processor geometries The EMC1412 monitors two temperature channels (one Automatically determines external diode type and external and one internal). It provides 1C accuracy for optimal settings both external and internal diode temperatures. Resistance Error Correction External Temperature Monitor Resistance Error Correction automatically eliminates the 1C max accuracy (20C < T < 110C) DIODE temperature error caused by series resistance allowing 0.125C resolution greater flexibility in routing thermal diodes.
