The MCP14A0455-E/MNY with Gate Drivers 4.5A Dual MOSFET Driver with Low Threshold Input is an integrated circuit manufactured by Microchip. It is a dual MOSFET driver designed for driving two N-channel MOSFETs with lower power consumption. The MCP14A0455-E/MNY is ideal for applications that require high-current, low-side switching of DC-DC converters, motor drivers, fan controls and other related applications. The driver has a low operating power threshold, which allows for an efficient operation in low-side switch-mode power converters. It features a level shifter circuit to interface with microcontroller operating voltage levels, as well as programmable slew rate to optimize power efficiency and reduce EMI. The MCP14A0455-E/MNY also includes over-current and thermal-protection (OCP/OTP) circuits, which help protect the device from damage. It is ideal for automotive applications since it is AEC-Q100 qualified.
