The MCP16301T-I/CHY is a switching voltage regulator with a 30V input buck switching regulator and a 600mA output current. It is designed and manufactured by Microchip. It includes features such as a PWM control architecture with a fixed switching frequency of 2.2MHz, internal synchronization, adjustable soft start and exit, power good output indicator, over temperature protection and a thermally enhanced 8-lead MSOP package. The device has an input voltage range of 4V to 28V and an output voltage range of 0.8V to 28V. Additionally, it offers two modes of operation: a constant switching frequency (CSF) mode and a continuous conduction mode (CCM). The device also includes protections against overload, over temperature, and open loop operation. It is intended for use in wide variety of applications such as mobile device chargers, DC/DC converters and other power management systems.
