The MCP1802T-1802I/OT is a low-dropout, low-noise, fixed output voltage, low-power CMOS voltage regulator from Microchip. It is capable of providing a steady voltage output of 1.8V with an input voltage range from 2.5V to 6V. It allows for a wide range of current output from 100 mA to 1A. The device also has an enable/disable feature for power saving applications. It has an internal thermal shutdown and current limiting protection, offering reverse current protection as well as over-current and over-temperature protection.
