The MCP6024-I/P is a low-power, rail-to-rail operational amplifier integrated circuit (IC) made by Microchip. It features very low offset voltage and drift, high DC precision, low quiescent current, and low input bias current.
The MCP6024-I/P is a single-channel amplifier, capable of operating on either a single 3V to 5.5V supply or dual supplies of ±1.8V to ±2.75V. The output also has a rail-to-rail capability, allowing it to swing from VSS up to VDD. The slew rate of the amplifier is 0.1V/µs, and the unity gain bandwidth is 3MHz.
The MCP6024-I/P is designed for applications such as monitoring, signal conditioning and signal translation, and the integrated thermal shutdown protects against excessive temperature and prolonged stress. The amplifier is fully specified for the -40°C to 125°C extended temperature range.
The MCP6024-I/P is easily interfaced with other devices and circuitry for use in larger systems and is optimized for operation with both digital and analog signals.
