MCP9501/2/3/4 Temperature Switch with Selectable Hysteresis Features Description Factory Set Temperature Switch Microchip Technologys MCP9501/2/3/4 family of devices are temperature switches with 1C (typical) Available Temperature Switch Thresholds: accurate factory set output thresholds. These devices -T = -35C,-25C, -15C, -5C, 5C, 15C, SET are ideal for high power supply systems where an 25C, 35C, 45C, 55C, 65C, 75C, 85C, overtemperature protection circuit is needed. These 95C, 105C, 115C, 125C devices do not require external components, consume Wide Operating Voltage Range: 2.7V to 5.5V 25 A (typical), and the factory set thresholds provide Low Supply Current: 25 A (typical) simplicity. Temperature Switch Accuracy: In addition, this family of devices provide user - 1C (typical) selectable 2C and 10C (typical) switch hysteresis, - 4C (maximum) -15C to +75C and various output configurations. The MCP9501/2 - 6C (maximum) -40C to +125C outputs switch for rising temperatures while the MCP9503/4 switch for falling temperature, with the Switch Threshold Options (Hot/Cold): relative hysteresis at the set thresholds. This family of - Rising Temp.: MCP9501/2 (Hot Option) devices is also available with Active-High Push-Pull - Falling Temp.: MCP9503/4 (Cold Option) and Active-Low Open-Drain outputs, the MCP9502/4 Output Configuration Options: and the MCP9501/3, respectively.
