MCP9501/2/3/4 Temperature Switch with Selectable Hysteresis Features Description Factory Set Temperature Switch Microchip Technologys MCP9501/2/3/4 family devices are temperature switches with 1C (typical) accurate Available Temperature Switch Thresholds: factory set output thresholds. This family of devices is also available with an active-high, push-pull - 4C (maximum) between -15C to +75C output (MCP9502/4) and an active-low, open-drain - 6C (maximum) between -40C to +125C output (MCP9501/3). The push-pull output is ideal for a Switch Threshold Options (Hot/Cold): microcontroller interface, while the open-drain output - Rising temperature: MCP9501/2 (Hot option) can be used for level shifting, wired-OR configuration or - Falling temperature: MCP9503/4 (Cold option) as a heater on/off switch.
