MIC2214 Portable Power Management IC General Description Features The MIC2214 is a dual Cap low dropout regulator with an Input voltage range: 2.25V to 5.5V open-drain driver and power-on reset circuit. The rst regulator Stable with ceramic output capacitor is capable of sourcing 150mA, while the second regulator can 2 LDO outputs source up to 300mA and includes a power-on reset function. Output 1 150mA output current The open-drain output is capable of sinking 150mA for LED Output 2 300mA output current backlighting applications. 1 Open-drain driver Power-on reset function with adjustable delay time Ideal for battery operated applications, the MIC2214 offers 1% Low dropout voltage of 80mV 100mA accuracy, extremely low dropout voltage (80mV 100mA), Ultra-low quiescent current of 48A and extremely low ground current, only 48A total. Equipped High output accuracy: with a TTL-logic-compatible enable pin, the MIC2214 can be +1.0% initial accuracy put into a zero-off-mode current state, drawing no current +2.0% over temperature when disabled. Thermal shutdown protection The MIC2214 is a Cap design, operating with very small Current limit protection ceramic output capacitors for stability, reducing required Tiny 3mm 3mm MLF-10 package board space and component cost. Applications The MIC2214 is available in xed output voltages in the 10-pin 3mm 3mm MLF leadless package and is also Cellular/PCS phones available with adjustable output voltages in the 4mm 4mm Wireless modems 16-pin MLF package.
