MIC5211 Dual Cap 80mA LDO Regulator General Description Features The MIC5211 is a dual Cap 80mA linear voltage regulator Stable with low-value ceramic or tantalum capacitors with very low dropout voltage (typically 20mV at light loads), Independent logic controls very low ground current (225A at 20mA output current), Low quiescent current and better than 3% initial accuracy. This dual device comes Low dropout voltage in the miniature SOT-23-6 package, featuring independent Mixed voltages available logic control inputs. Tight load and line regulation Low temperature coefcient The Cap regulator design is optimized to work with low-value, Current and thermal limiting low-cost ceramic capacitors. The outputs typically require Reversed input polarity protection only 0.1F of output capacitance for stability. Zero off-mode current Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered devices, Dual regulator in tiny SOT-23 package ground current is minimized using Micrels proprietary Super 2.5V to 16V input range eta PNP technology to prolong battery life. When disabled, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Applications Key features include SOT-23-6 packaging, current limiting, overtemperature shutdown, and protection against reversed Cellular telephones battery conditions.
