Microtran VM8-M is a powerful miniature system designed for the control and monitoring of process and automation applications. It has a range of features that allow for quick, easy and cost effective installation and commissioning. It consists of power supplies, a base unit, an LCD display, I/O boards, expansion boards, a CAN bus interface and communication options. The system can be configured with up to 16 I/O boards and supports a variety of communication protocols such as CANopen, Modbus RTU, Ethernet, Profibus and RS232. The LCD display enables configuration and programming of the system and provides an intuitive user interface. The CAN bus interface enables interfacing with other controllers and devices and supports a range of protocols such as CANopen and CANopen Control System (CS) protocol. The expansion boards allow for the addition of additional I/O boards, voltage and current inputs and encoders for position feedback.
