Additional Infomation About Product

The MikroElektronika Spectral Click board uses the advanced ALMS3003 Spectral Sensor IC to measure the spectral incident flux of a light source in the visible and near infrared range in a Passive Electro-Optical system. This IC provides an 8-bit output for the visible range of 380nm to 780nm, and a 10-bit output within the range of 770nm to 1100nm. The board is based on a low-power, system-on-chip architecture that combines a built-in ADCA (Analog-to-Digital Converter), an operational amplifier, a control logic, and a voltage reference circuit into one single IC. This design makes it a perfect solution for something like measuring ambient light levels, or showing how different light sources differ in their spectral correspondences.
