MP2303A 3A, 28V, 360kHz Synchronous Rectified Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2303A is a monolithic synchronous 3A Output Current buck regulator. The device integrates a 150m Wide 4.7V to 28V Operating Input Range high-side MOSFET and a 80m low-side Integrated MOSFET Switches MOSFET that provide 3A continuous load Output Adjustable from 0.80V to 25V current over a wide operating input voltage of Up to 95% Efficiency 4.7V to 28V. Current mode control provides fast Programmable Soft-Start transient response and cycle-by-cycle current Stable with Low ESR Ceramic Output Capacitors limit. Fixed 360kHz Frequency An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection at turn-on. In shutdown mode, the supply Input Under Voltage Lockout current drops to lower than 1 A. Available in thermally enhanced 8-Pin SOIC and PDIP-8 packages This device, available in an 8-pin SOIC and PDIP-8 packages, provides a very compact APPLICATIONS system solution with minimal reliance on Distributed Power Systems external components.
