MP3217 36V, 670kHz Step-up Converter with a 0.5A Switch The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP3217 is a monolithic step up converter Internal 0.6 Power MOSFET integrating a 0.5A, 0.6 internal switch. The Up to 36V Output Voltage MP3217 uses current mode, fixed frequency 670kHz Fixed Switching Frequency architecture to regulate the output voltage, 42V Over Voltage Shutdown providing fast transient response and cycle by Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection cycle current limit. UVLO, Thermal Shutdown Available in TSOT23-6 Packages The MP3217 includes under-voltage lockout, over voltage protection and thermal overload APPLICATIONS protection preventing damage in the event of an output overload. APD Bias Generation Portable Applications The MP3217 is available in small 6-pin TSOT23 Handheld Computers and PDAs package. The device is ROHS compliance. Digital Still Cameras Monolithic Power Systems, MPS, and The Future of Analog IC Technology are Registered Trademarks of Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
