MP3308 Step-up White LED Driver with Dual PWM Dimming Input Control The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP3308 is a monolithic step-up converter Internal Power MOSFET designed to drive arrays of white LEDs from a Drives Up to 10 White LEDs in Series 3.3V input or a single-cell lithium-ion battery. 2.2MHz Fixed Switching Frequency The MP3308 uses fixed-frequency current- Up to 88% Efficiency mode architecture to regulate the LED current, Dual PWM-Dimming Input Control which is measured through an external current Internal 1.3A Current Limit sense resistor. Its low 200mV feedback voltage 3% True PWM Dimming Duty Accuracy reduces power loss and improves efficiency. Adjustable Over-Voltage Protection The MP3308 features dual PWM-dimming input Threshold control and true PWM dimmingthis control Low 200mV Feedback Voltage allows for a wide luminescent range that makes Under-Voltage Lockout, Short-Circuit the display readable under a variety of ambient Protection, Thermal Shutdown light conditions with minimal PWM dimming Available in 3mmx4mm QFN14 Package noise. APPLICATIONS The MP3308 includes over-voltage protection, Small LCD Panels short-circuit protection, under-voltage lockout, Digital Picture Frames current limiting, and thermal overload protection.
