MP3432 Fully Integrated, Synchronous, 30W Boost Converter with Pass-through Mode and Programmable Switching Current Limit DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP3432 is a 600kHz, fixed frequency, wide 2.7V to 13V Start-Up Voltage input range, highly integrated, boost converter. 0.8V to 13V Operation Voltage The MP3432 starts from an input voltage as low Up to 16V Output Voltage as 2.7V and supports up to 30W of load power Supports 30W Average Power Load and from a 1-cell battery with integrated low R DS(ON) 40W Peak Power Load from 3.3V power MOSFETs. Programmable Switching Peak Current Limit The MP3432 adopts constant-off-time (COT) Integrated 6.5m and 10m Power control topology, which provides fast transient MOSFET response. MODE supports the selection of >95% Efficiency for 3.6V V to 9V/3A pulse-skip mode (PSM), forced continuous IN conduction mode (FCCM), and ultrasonic mode Selectable PSM, >23kHz USM, and FCCM (USM) in a light-load condition. The in Light-Load Condition programmable switching peak current limit Auto Pass-Through Function in PSM Mode provides accurate overload protection.
