MP4013B High-Brightness, High-Current Accuracy WLED Controller The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES Constant-current WLED Driver The MP4013B is a current mode controller 600mV Feedback Voltage with 1.2% designed for driving the high brightness Light Accuracy Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with wide supply 8V-26V Input Voltage voltage 8V-26V. It can be used in both Boost and SEPIC topologies. Programmable Switching Frequency Leading Edge Blanking for Current Sense The MP4013B drives external MOSFET with High Dimming Ratio Fast PWM Dimming fixed frequency architecture to regulate the LED DC Input or Pulse Signal Input Analog current, which is measured through an external Dimming current feedback resistor. The switching 5V Reference Voltage with 1% Accuracy frequency can be programmed to meet kinds of External PWM Dimming MOS Driver applications. The cycle-by-cycle current limit Programmable Input Bus Voltage UVLO can be programmed by the sense resistor on Soft Start Any Startup Condition CS pin. Over Voltage Protection The MP4013B integrates a 600mV reference Short LED Protection voltage for LED current feedback with 1.2% Short Output Protection accuracy a 5V reference voltage with 1% Over Current Protection accuracy for the reference voltage for external Short Inductor/Diode Protection circuit. Fault Indicator The MP4013B implements both DC input VIN UVLO analog dimming and pulse signal input analog Thermal Shutdown dimming function. The amplitude of the LED Available in SOIC-16 package current could be controlled either by the level of a DC input signal or by the duty cycle of a pulse APPLICATIONS signal.
