MP6532 5V to 60V, Three-Phase Brushless DC Motor Pre-Driver DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6532 is a gate driver IC designed for Wide 5V to 60V Input Voltage Range three-phase brushless DC motor driver Built-in Hall Sensor Inputs and 120 applications. It is capable of driving three half Commutation Logic bridges consisting of six N-channel power Charge Pump Gate Drive Supply MOSFETs up to 60V. Bootstrap High-Side Driver with Trickle- Charge Circuit Supports 100% Duty Cycle The MP6532 integrates a regulated charge pump Operation to generate gate drive power, and uses a Low-Power Sleep Mode bootstrap capacitor to generate a supply voltage Programmable Short-Circuit Protection for the high-side MOSFET driver. An internal Over-Current Protection trickle-charge circuit maintains sufficient high- side gate driver voltage even when an output is Adjustable Dead-Time Control to Prevent operated at 100% duty cycle Shoot-Through Thermal Shutdown and UVLO Protection Internal protection features include Fault Indication Output programmable short-circuit protection, over- Thermally Enhanced Surface-Mount Package current protection, adjustable dead-time control, undervoltage lockout, and thermal shutdown. APPLICATIONS The device integrates 120 commutation using Three-Phase Brushless DC Motors and three Hall sensor inputs. The PWM, DIR, and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors nBRAKE inputs are used to control motor speed, Power Drills direction, and braking.
