MP6538 100V, Three-Phase, BLDC Motor Pre-Driver with Hall Signal Interface The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6538 is a gate driver IC designed for Supports 100V Operation three-phase, brushless DC motor driver Hall Sensor Inputs applications. The MP6538 is capable of driving 120V V Maximum Voltage BST three half-bridges consisting of six N-channel Internal LDO Supports External NPN for power MOSFETs up to 100V. High-Current Drive Requirements Integrated Current-Sense Amplifier The MP6538 uses bootstrap capacitor to Low-Power Sleep Mode generate a supply voltage for the high-side Programmable Over-Current Protection MOSFET driver. An internal charge pump (OCP) of External MOSFETs maintains the high-side gate driver if the output is held high for an extended period of time. Adjustable Dead-Time Control to Prevent Shoot-Through Full protection features include programmable Thermal Shutdown and Under-Voltage over-current protection (OCP), adjustable dead- Lockout (UVLO) Protection time control, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), and Fault Indication Output thermal shutdown. Available in a Thermally Enhanced Surface- The MP6538 has three hall-sensor inputs.
