MP6543H 22V, 2A, Three-Phase Power Stage DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6543H family of products (MP6543H, 3V to 22V Operating Supply Voltage MP6543H-A, and MP6543H-B) are three-phase Three Integrated Half-Bridge Drivers brushless DC motor drivers. They integrate three 2A Continuous Output Current half-bridges, consisting of six N-channel power MOSFET On Resistance: 110m per FET MOSFETs, as well as pre-drivers, gate drive MP6543H: EN and PWM Inputs power supplies, and current-sense amplifiers. MP6543H-A: LS and HS Inputs MP6543H-B: Hall-Effect Sensor Inputs The MP6543H has enable (EN) and PWM inputs for each half-bridge. The MP6543H-A has Built-In 3.3V, 100mA LDO Regulator separate high-side (HS) and low-side (LS) inputs, Internal Charge Pump Supports 100% Duty while the MP6543H-B has Hall-effect sensor Cycle Operation inputs. Otherwise, these three devices are Automatic Synchronous Rectification similar. Over-Current Protection (OCP) with Adjustable Threshold The MP6543H delivers up to 2A of continuous Integrated, Bidirectional Current-Sense current (depending on thermal and PCB Amplifiers conditions) with an adjustable over-current Available in a QFN-24 (3mmx4mm) protection (OCP) threshold. It uses an internal Package charge pump to generate the gate drive supply voltage for the high-side MOSFETs, and a trickle APPLICATIONS charge circuit to maintain a sufficient gate drive 3-Phase Brushless DC Motor Drivers voltage to operate at 100% duty cycle.
