MP92265 18V, 5A, 500kHz, High-Efficiency, Synchronous, Step-Down Converter in 8-Pin TSOT23 DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP92265 is a high-frequency, Wide 6V to 18V Operating Input Range synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode Adjustable Output Voltage as Low as 0.6V converter with built-in power MOSFETs. The Low 47m/18m R of Internal Power DS(ON) MP92265 offers a very compact solution that MOSFETs achieves 5A of output current with excellent High Efficiency up to 97% load and line regulation over a wide input Fixed 500kHz Switching Frequency supply range. External Programmable Soft-Start Time 1% Reference Accuracy at Room The MP92265 uses synchronous mode Temperature operation to achieve high efficiency over the output current load range. Current-mode External Programmable AAM Power-Save Mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Over-Current Protection (OCP) with Hiccup Mode Full protection features include over-current Available in a TSOT23-8 Package protection (OCP) and thermal shutdown. APPLICATIONS The MP92265 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard, external Flat-Panel Televisions and Monitors components and is available in a space-saving, Notebook Systems and I/O Power 8-pin, TSOT23 package.
