MP9928 4V-60V Input, Current Mode, Synchronous Step-Down Controller The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP9928 is a high-voltage, synchronous Wide 4V to 60V Operating Input Range step-down switching regulator controller that Dual N-Channel MOSFET Driver can directly step down voltages from up to 60V. Low Dropout Operation: Maximum Duty The MP9928 uses PWM current control Cycle at 99.5% architecture with accurate cycle-by-cycle Programmable Frequency Range: 100kHz - current limiting. It is capable of driving dual N- 1000kHz channel MOSFET switches. 180 Out-of-Phase SYNCO AAM Mode (Advanced asynchronous mode) External Soft-Start and PG Pin enables non-synchronous operation and PFM Selectable Cycle-by-Cycle Current Limit mode to optimize light load efficiency. Output Over Voltage Protection Internal LDO with Externally Power Supply The operating frequency of MP9928 can be Option programmed by an external resistor or Programmable CCM and AAM Pulse- synchronized to an external clock for noise- Skipping Mode sensitive applications. Fault protections are Accuracy Over Temperature Protection available including a precision output over TSSOP20-EP package and QFN-20 voltage protection (OVP), output over current (3mmx4mm) Package protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
