MPQ2483 Industrial/Automotive-Grade 55V, 2.5A Programmable Frequency LED Driver Avaiable in AEC-Q100 The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ2483 is a 55V, LED driver suitable for 2.5A Maximum Peak Current either step-down or inverting step-up/down Buck or Buck-Boost Modes applications. It achieves 2.5A peak current over Wide 4.5V to 55V Operating Input Range a wide input supply range with excellent load 0.28 Internal Power MOSFET Switch and line regulation. Current mode operation Analog and PWM Dimming provides fast transient response and eases loop 0.198V Reference Voltage stabilization. Fault condition protection includes 5 A Shutdown Mode thermal shutdown, cycle-by-cycle peak current Stable with Low ESR Capacitors limiting, output over voltage protection, open Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection strings protection and output short circuit Thermal Shutdown, Over Voltage, Short protection. Circuit & Open String Protection The MPQ2483 incorporates both DC and PWM AEC-Q100 Qualified dimming onto a single control pin.
