MPQ2489 Step Down White LED Driver with Wide 6V 55V Input Voltage AEC-Q100 Qualified The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MPQ2489 is a high efficiency step-down Guaranteed Industrial/Automotive Temp converter designed in continuous current mode Internal 60V MOSFET for driving the high brightness Light Emitting Wide 6V to 55V Input Range Diodes (LED) from wide input voltage 6V55V. 1A Output Current High Efficiency (>95%) The MPQ2489 employs hysteretic control architecture to regulate a high accuracy LED Hysteresis Control current, which is measured through an external PWM & Analog Dimming high-side current sensing resistor. Moreover, 1000:1 PWM Dimming Resolution this control scheme provides optimized circuit Thermal Shutdown stabilization and very quick response time Inherent Open LED Protection without the loop compensation. Its low 202mV Short LED Protection average feedback voltage reduces power loss Available in QFN6(3x 3mm) Package and improves the converter efficiency. Available in AEC-Q100 Grade 1 The MPQ2489 implements PWM and analog APPLICATIONS dimming together with DIM pin. Low Voltage Halogen Replacement The MPQ2489 includes thermal overload Low Voltage General Illumination protection preventing damage in the event of an Automotive/Decorative LED Lighting output overload.
