The PRF18BD471RS5RB with PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) Thermistors 0603 80C 470ohms Posistor-Overheat is an electronic part manufactured by Murata. These thermistors are made using negative temperature coefficient (NTC) technology and have an overheat element that prevents current from continuing to flow when the temperature of the component rises above a certain temperature. This PTC thermistor also features an accuracy of ±1% tolerance. The maximum operating temperature of this component is 80 degrees Celsius and the resistance range is between 470 and 870 ohms. This PTC thermistor is designed to be used in circuit board applications where accurate temperature control or overload protection is required.
