Myrra is an ancient city located in the modern-day state of Syria. 47200 is part of Myrra's historical core. This area served as the center of the city for settlements which have been dated back as far as the 22nd century BC. This area is known for its longevity, as it was occupied by successive cultures over the millennia, including the Hurrian, Akkadian, Babylonian, and Neo-Assyrian empires. It contains evidence of the civilizations which once lived here: archaeological remains, city walls, temples, fortifications and gateways. In this part of Myrra, visitors can also find some of the oldest known settlements in Syria, such as Tell Shaikhan, and the Akkadian capital city, Ekhmimis.
