NB-HLUP-4 is a multi-year Higher Level Use Program designed to assist homeowners with structurally deficient homes. The program provides funding for the rehabilitation, renovation, or replacement of existing housing for homeowners who meet specific eligibility criteria. The program is administered by New Brunswick’s Department of Social Development and includes eligibility criteria such as occupancy, owner-occupier status, and income criteria. The program may cover up to 85% of the cost of eligible repairs, with the remaining cost being paid by the homeowner. The funded repairs must address health and safety issues, as well as energy efficiency, such as new windows, doors, siding, and a new roof.
