-no-Mikoto
The KS-41-S is a replica skeleton of Ninigi-no-Mikoto, a legendary Japanese ancestor who, according to Kojiki, is the great-grandson of the sun goddess Amaterasu. He was the imperial ancestor of the Japanese imperial line, and is believed to be the central figure in the generations of expansion and development of Japan. This replica was crafted in 1971 by the artist Teruo Yuki to honor and commemorate Ninigi, and is now on display at the Tokyo Museum of History in Japan. The skeleton is made of cedarwood, lacquer and resin, and features a unique and lifelike sculpture, with the most intricate details. The skeleton also includes some ancient coins and a miniature version of a Buddhist Altar, making it a very significant part of Japan's cultural history.
